This patient was previously operated on due to an open fracture in his ankle. The fracture eventually healed but his implants became infected after a year. Removal of implants and debridement was done but the infection persisted and the surgical wound became larger and would not heal. He was then advised repeat debridement as an in-patient in the operating room.

Seeking second opinion at Hilom, we did ultrasound assisted debridement with Prontosan every treatment session and wound healing was achieved in 4 months.
