Askina Calgitrol Ag Silver Alginate Dressing

A sterile dressing consisting of two layers:

• Polyurethane foam layer which provides for the absorption of wound exudate.

• Ionic silver alginate matrix which provides for broad anti-microbial coverage.

Advantages

• Immediate availability of silver ions with a sustained controlled release to the wound bed

• Absorbs wound exudate

• May be left in place until dressing is saturated with wound exudate or for up to seven days

• Available in three sizes:

  • 10 x 10 cm

  • 15 x 15 cm

  • 20 x 20 cm

Indicated for the management of:

• Partial or full thickness wounds with moderate exudate

• Stage I - IV pressure ulcers

• Venous, arterial, and neuropathic ulcers

• 2nd degree burns

• Skin graft donor sites
